Room was perfect, had kitchenette suite and it had everything u could imagine to cook whatever you would want . Staff was amazingly friendly and has good knowledge of surrounding area and events. Very warm welcome and a great place to bring the family and enjoy the wasaga region. Cheers

Let me tell you this place is absolutely great.... from the front desk staff, maintenance, housekeeping(very very clean)..owners, etc!!!!! They will accomodate you, advise you on places to go.... (Go eat at the Gergian Circle-fabulous owner-food....)
The cottages are clean, modern, and they even have deluxe... very detailed.....
My opinion this is the best place in Wasaga beach..trust me im used to 5 star accomodations....
Elle and Carl and all the staff we want to thank you so very much for the wonderful week...and we will be back soon!!!! Cindy

Our great X-country trails are now open. Just to let you know, they are just 3 minutes away from Saga Resort. Easily accessible by car or simply walk there. Ski and snowshoe rentals are available at the pro shop. They also offer the great Ski 3 pass !!!

This pass enables you to ski three different trails:

Wasaga Beach, Highland Nordic and Scenic Caves Nordic.

They're all within 30 minutes driving distance from your doorstep at SAGA RESORT.

After returning to the Resort, chill out in our beautiful hot tub.

"Go Snowmobiling! Give It a Try!" is back again for it's second year! Try the fun and excitement of snowmobiling at no cost to you! This event is put on by the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) and will be visiting Wasaga Beach on:

Feb 12-15/09

Feb 19-22/09

Feb 26-Mar 1/09

Check out http://www.tryriding.com/ to find this year's schedule and REGISTER for your chance to ride. They will be choosing participants through a combination of local radio station contests and a selection of entries from their website.

Winners will receive:

-A complete rider orientation, training and testing session for safe operation of a snowmobile.
-Use of snowmobile suits, boots, gloves and helmets to ensure comfort and safety.
-An escorted ride around the region where the winners will get a chance to get a feel for what snowmobiling is all about.
-An experienced local OFSC snowmobile club rider and a member of the Go Snowmobiling team will lead each riding group.
-It will be set at a pace that will be comfortable for new riders and ensure that all guests ride with care and control.
-The ride will last approximately one hour and there will be 2 rides per day.

Wasaga Sports Park: Live shows by the Lumberjack Company, face painting, live ice scuplture demonstrations and pony rides.

Snowmobiling in Ontario

Great News! We just received the new M.O.S.T. Map (Mid Ontario Snowmobile Trails) and have found out that the trail literally comes past our front door. They are officially running Trail 602 over the bridge and onto the beach. Check it out: Trail 602 comes off the of the B Trail.
